Generally, this forum is relaxed and laidback, BUT there are some rules and guidelines to take into consideration.
The basic ground rules for posts on Single Parent Australia are simple: be polite, use common sense, don't break the law and don't post any message that even hints at advertising.
In addition to the rules posted here, you are required to read any individual forum rules which may be posted at the top of specific forums.
We do not permit:
• The names of your children, loved ones or exes to be posted on our message boards. This is for privacy issues and posts with names included will be edited accordingly, with or without notice.
• The posting of your email /messenger address on the SPA website. If you would like to correspond with another member privately please do so thru the private messaging system.
• The posting of any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright or you have written consent from the owner of the copyrighted material. Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also forbidden on this forum.
• Any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, adult material, or otherwise in violation of any International law.
The Administrator and the moderators reserve the right to edit or remove any post at any time. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these rules is up to Administration and Moderators and not users. Single Parent Australia also reserves the right to revoke yoru membership for any reason including but not limited to a breach of these rules.
We do allow advertising of websites that offer FREE information and/or support for our members as long as it is parenting related and a service that we do not offer at Single Parent Australia (please no other parenting forums)

Please remember that we do not actively monitor the posted messages, and as such, are not responsible for the content contained within. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information presented.
